Gearlube GL-5 80W-90 is a mineral lubricating oil for mechanical gears. It is based on solvent refined base oils supplemented with special extreme pressure additives to provide the following properties:

  • Superior oxidation resistance
  • Very effective protection against rust, corrosion and foaming
  • Low pour point
  • Outstanding EP high-pressure properties



Application

Gearlube GL-5 80W-90 is used in heavy-duty hypoid gears in rear axles, change gears and other transmissions where Extreme Pressure (EP) oil is specified.
