Steel Seal - Easy head gasket repair

Steel Seal® is the simple and inexpensive smart repair solution for defective cylinder head gaskets. Since 1999, a tried and tested alternative to the time-consuming and costly replacement of the cylinder head gasket, which has received multiple awards.

Note : If other additives have been previously used, we strongly recommend the Flushing the cooling system with clear water before application. If the cooling system has residues of engine oil, radiator sludge, lime (scale) etc. or other obvious impurities (a look in the expansion tank is usually sufficient), we recommend using a radiator cleaner to flush the cooling system before use. The Concentrated Radiator Flush from Power Maxed (here in the shop). Compatible with Steel Seal® and can go to optimal preparation of the cooling system for the application (1 bottle of cleaner is sufficient for up to 10 liters of cooling water).

After using the cleaner, rinse the system again with water and use either for the application pure water or coolant with one water content of at least 75%, i.e. a mixing ratio of at least 3:1 with antifreeze. Use while doing no radiator antifreeze marked as "Longlife" or "Langzeit", but only conventional antifreeze (e.g. 2 or 3 year old blue antifreeze). After use, any commercially available coolant can be used in the cooling system again.
